Please help--flakes during sex??

Has anyone ever experienced lots of dry flakes vaginally escaping during sex?? I have been using Gynol II Vaginal Contraceptive Jelly with my diaphram for a couple months, but suddenly dried pale flakes are accumulating/escaping during intercourse.*This hasn't happened before(or as much) when I initally started using the gel.

Is the Gynol causing this? Could it be too old? Should I change brands?
