I'm making a sword.

Hey r/Knives! I was bored the other day and felt the need to see if I could make a sword. All I could find was a 2 in. x 2 in. x 36 in. piece of wood and a 1/2 in. diameter x about 42 in. hollow brass dowel rod. Will be posting pictures soon. Turns out, I'm making a naginata, not a sword, to be specific.
