Killing Floor problems

So I downloaded Killing floor today. When I launched the game it sent me to the menu and I immediately went to the options menu to change some graphic options. I changed it from Direct x 9.0 to Software and it required I restart the game. And now, it wont launch. I tried uninstalling and installing it again, and it still didn't work. PLEASE HELP!
