Update: I prayed for rain. Very disappointed.

Here's the story:

One day out side working in 105 degree temperature, I decided we could use some rain (It had been about a week and a half maybe 2 weeks since we've had rain). So I prayed for rain like Elijah (I believe it was Elijah). That afternoon, it rained for ~15 mins. Same thing the next day and the day after that. Now. For the past two days it hasn't rained over my house, but it has been thundering and lightning. Here's the forecast for next week: Forecast

Now, what I'm disappointed about is I make a post (in r/Christianity) about how God has answered my prayers and all i received was hate. Comments like "Why would God make it rain on you yard while he could be saving someone in Africa" Or "Why doesn't God make it rain in Africa where they need water?" were being posted as replies. Why were those being posted? God can water my yard and do those things at the same time. To be honest, I could care less about the yard, I just wanted to see God intervene with my life by doing something extremely simple, but significant.
