Why no craft from bank?

With the new deposit-all-collectible added, bags are only for current gear+consumables and trash. I don't understand why it's not auto-deposit to bank and craft from bank.

The send to collectibles makes you do boring clicks in your inventory and un-fun bank runs when wanting to craft.

EDIT: And by craft from bank I mean that the mats will be pulled from the bank automatically when crafting, and not that you can craft at a bank station.
