Topic: How do you deal with body confidence, or lack thereof?

Hi PLounge. This may be better suited towards specific subreddits, but I feel more comfortable with you guys.

How do you any of you deal with struggling confidence? I'm a 22 year old girl and I have pisspoor confidence and I've come to see that body issues are my trigger. Something was said to me tonight that set me off and I feel more hideous than I ever have in my life.

I sometimes skip eating during the day if I feel fat, and I have made myself throw up before. I've cut myself and hit myself for years because of low self-confidence. I have messed up relationships and friendships because of it, stayed in the house, isolated because of it, missed out on a lot of things. My confidence is so low right now that I am seriously considering just...not eating. And maybe then I'll be sexy. Maybe then I'll finally be sexy.

PLounge, you are all a sexy bunch. How do you do it? How do you find confidence? How do you tell yourself, "Celestia as my witness, I'm going to eat this food and not punish myself for it later?" Or, "Luna be damned, I'm naked right now and that's hot!"

I can't sleep, I'm shaking. I can't change my body at the drop of a hat. I exercise daily, I'm trying, damnit. But to know that I'm not a 10, I'm not 100% wonderfully attractive to someone is ruining me.

This may come across as fishing for compliments, but you know what, I don't care at this point. I need to feel beautiful and right now, I feel the opposite.

TL;DR: How do you keep your confidence up? Tell me! I must soak up your knowledge and tips/tricks.
