Reddit: Why do you think Youtube comments are always so racist?

I was watching the The Last Word With Lawerence O'Donnell, and he mentioned the old CNN show Crossfire. This mention made me nostalgic for the board game of the same name and, more specifically, the infamous ad that went along with it. So off to Youtube I went.

Before even watching the ad I thought to myself, ”How many comments will I read before seeing the word Nigger?”.

It was ten comments Reddit. Ten.

No blacks in the ad, yet ten comments in there it was, nigger.

Do you think it's the anonymity? Because Reddit and most of the web is just as anonymous, yet youtube seems to have more racist comments than any other site.

Why???
