Hearing air conditioning turn on makes me really happy. What odd things are exciting to you?

I grew up in the north eastern United States, so the A/C only went on in the summer months. We generally tried not to use it too much, so when the 2 units went on it was a great relief and like Christmas morning to me. I still get really thrilled in this way when I hear the "vrmmmmm" of the A/C turning on.
