Fallout 3 Vs. New Vegas: The Age (two years) Old Question
Reddit, what is your opinion: Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas? Lets start with the pros and cons. Fallout 3; Pros: Fairly good story, fun missions (for the most part), good DLC, and fairly useful skill system. Cons: Repair system, low level cap, no real way to choose ending, no iron sights (I'll get to that in a moment). Fallout New Vegas; Pros: New skills, choosable story, weapon mods, campfires, good DLC (for the most part), reputations, iron sights. Cons: Glitches, karma system doesn't matter (for the most part), overpowered caps system (gambling with Naughty Nightwear after a trip to the New Vegas Clinic, anyone?), no way of continuing story without reloading save, ect. When I said that I would get to the iron sights, I meant it. I like having the option to choose the iron sights, but this is not a real problem. I digress, I tend to lean more in favor of Fallout 3, because it seems a bit harder to be successful, and I like that challenge. I do enjoy quite a few aspects from FNV, and I wish they had been incorporated into Fallout 3 (i.e. weapon mods, reloading bench). Enough of what I think, what do you think? Comment below.
