Need Help with Heimer!

Because Heimer is free this week, I guess this is as good a time as any to ask for help.

I play mid a lot; champions like Vlad, Brand, Annie, Ori (one of my favorites), and I'm usually pretty good at it.

But Heimer...that little jerk just CAN'T be pushed. I can't figure out what to do with him. In my last match, Jax, Akali, and Brand (myself) all took on him and Cho, but he STILL managed to take down Akali and I before falling to ignite. (And before you ask, Jax and Akali were good players, so don't say that it was their fault; we all tried.)

I don't say this about any champ until I've played them for about 5 matches personally, but I believe that Heimer is truly OP. Not my call, I know, but I'd like him to have a nerf if possible.

So for now, I need help. How in the world does one win in a fight against Heimer? Or even at least defend the turret?

TL/DR: What's the best way to play against Heimer in mid?
