Xin Zhao: What Fixes Would You Make?

Despite the recent 'announcement' that Xin Zhao was in the works for a remake, I'm not convinced that it's going to come too soon.

So I was thinking a bit about my favorite champion some, and I wrote up this post on the forums: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=2338297 Take a look at my ideas and let me know what you think of them.

All of this brainstorming got me in the thinking mood, and I'm just wondering what you guys think:

1. What exactly is wrong with Xin Zhao? The common two I've heard are lack of scaling and lack of escape, but is that really it? As in, if those two were fixed tomorrow, would he be a good champion?

2. What would you do to make Xin Zhao viable yet fun?
