(Canada) Was just issued a ticket and had my truck towed for failing to produce registration. Any way I can get the ticket revoked?

This is in Alberta Canada. I was pulled over at a check stop and did not have a physical copy of my registration although my truck is registered and has the proper stickers on my license plate.

I was charged with a section 52(1)(A) operating M.V. W/O subsisting cert. of REG. Fined $230 and had my truck towed.

Is there anything I can do about this to get the ticket waived?
