Can't access Synology Diskstation (NAS) through home network, though I can access/control it online.

When first getting my Synology Diskstation up and running, I could simply find it under "network" (Win 7), click on it, and browse its files. I can still see it listed under Network, but now only get the message

"Windows can not access DISKSTATION. Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network."

When I click troubleshoot, the result is, "Windows can't find a device called DISKSTATION" (which is the correct name assigned to this device).

The problem is, the system is on and I can still control it by logging into the control panel online (http://192.168.1.5:5000/webman/index.cgi).

I have not changed any settings, but obviously something is wrong. Where do I even begin to get this working again?

My computer's workgroup name is "workgroup," as is the setting on the diskstation where I can choose either a domain or a workgroup, and what that workgroup is named.

HELP!
