What's the most idiotic thing you've done in a sleepy haze?

One night I was woken up at 3am by my bladder who needed to make a deposit. So I go into the bathroom and notice a metal hairclip inside of an electrical socket. I guess, in my haze, I forgot about the properties of metal and electricity, because I grabbed it. I felt what could only be described as the finger of Zeus flicking my hand. It hurt, but I walked away fully awake and unhurt.

edit: Bonus story. I used to have a rabbit. The rabbit had his own cage in my room also. One morning, around 5am, he starts making a lot of noise to indicate "I'M FUCKING HUNGRY MASTER!". So I get up, open his cage, give him some food, and go back to bed. An hour later, I wake up with a rabbit right in my face cuddling with my head. I forgot to close his cage.
