Does anybody else think a miniseries about adult Aang setting up republic city is a good idea?

I'm not sure if this has ever been mentioned, but I thought of it earlier today and thought it would be a great concept.

Recently, I finished rewatching the series for the 3rd time, and am very sad that I will never see Aang again, other than him giving Korra spiritual guidance or in Korra's flashbacks.

I think after LoK, the writers should make something along the lines of Aang dealing with keeping the balance after creating the most diverse city in their world. For example, when Korra had the flashback to Aang taking Yakone's bending away, I thought it would have been great to get more back story on what Yakone was actually doing to the city. This is just one possibility out of many. We could watch him and Katara raise their children. Just the idea of this gives me chills.

Maybe it could be on a more mature channel than Nickelodeon as well. I know this gets suggested a lot, but it could have more mature (not necessarily meaning sex and violence, just more complicated) plots, now that he's an adult.

What do you guys think? Is this a good idea? Maybe I'm just having post-avatar withdrawal and I'm just spewing crazy.
