Meaning

I'm curious as to why everyone in this sub seems to believe that dreams have deep meaning. I've had recurring dreams, dreams that depressed me, dreams that made me giddy and a fair share of nightmares too. More than any of those; though, I've had meaningless dreams. Additionally I've never had a dream I couldn't figure out the "meaning" to. The things are made by my unconscious brain and it's my opinion that if it doesn't spring to mind easilly, I'm probably overthinking it. Forgive me, r/dreams, but this prevailing notion that dreams are wise counsel from the universe at large is just... weird.
