What's the weirdest thing you've found in the woods?

When I was younger, I remember exploring some woods behind my friend's house. It was a rainy, gloomy day and my foot all of a sudden stepped on something and sunk a bit. I looked down and my eyes couldn't comprehend what I saw. My first thought was that it was some alien creature whose skin was a sickly greenish hue. Turns out it was a dead, decaying fawn whose skin had changed color.

Another one was when we found a bunch of random poorly made crosses nailed onto various trees. Found out later it was some Christian hardcore/goth teens who had put them up.

edit: remembered this weird story from my youth. When I was younger, probably around 5th or 6th grade, I would go to tennis tournaments that my sister's high school team was competing in. I had a friend around my age whose sister was also on the team, so we'd hang out and do fairly innocent exploring of high school facilties/grounds/etc. Once we were exploring some woods not too far from the courts, when an older man appeared (probably late 60s, if I had to guess) on the trail we were walking down. I don't remember all the details, but he claimed the land we were on was his land and that we were trespassing. He said he has a problem with young kids always trespassing on his land and that he could sue us if he wanted to. We were young and scared, of course. I don't remember how exactly the next part came about, but I recall him saying something about how he likes to have photos of all the kids he finds back there to remember them by (creepy, right? I remember at the time not thinking too much of it). So he pulls out a camera that he had and tells us to stand together and smile.
