Just dawned on me for future combat updates..
So I was reading the FAQ, and one of the questions was relating to the scaling of magic, and how much damage it does, as we currently (from what I read) have spells that hit in the 900s. Melee attacks for that matter as well.
So if they keep on adding in new spells, they said they would squish the damage down. This lead me to another question. Two infact.
-
If magic damage is squished down, wouldn't magic users be doing even less damage at the same combat level, this making it unbalanced.
-
If I am doing less damage, I would hope I gain magic exp sooner. This then raises the question, but even have old weaker spells in the first place? (Almost getting to that point now even)
So my suggestion to this would be one of two things.
- Increase the cap for hitpoints (beyond the nonstandard of what it is now. The highest is 990, in the beta gear gives you HP, but I am not speaking of that)
- Make Constitution a never ending skill. There are obvious problems with this one.
Thoughts?
