Discordianism: an older and subtler parody religion without the smugness FSM and the Invisible Unicorn

Originally conceived as an exercise to demonstrate that humans invent gods and not the other way 'round by building a "real" religion around a patently absurd deity, Discordianism seems like the sort of thing lots of you may enjoy. It has since grown into a very loose disorganization of artists, absurdists, surrealists, and other charming weirdos.
