Dear police of reddit, what nice things have you done that most of us would not think you would do?

Most of us know police for being retarded for pulling us over and giving us a ticket. But what are some nice things you have done and you felt like it was the right thing to do? Was it to help someone out of random kindness or were you on duty when you did this? I want some interesting stories.
