My first proper chance to share my BroNYcon experience. Or: How the hell did PsychoDuck get on my StreetPass?!

It's surprising how the time slips away in these sweltering summer days, much more concerning how much of it you can go without proper internet.

Man, BroNYcon was the first convention that I genuinely enjoyed out of the three I've attended ever (Not that local cons can really hold a candle to this) and it's safe to say i will be trying to attend more FiM cons when finances recover.

Despite all the people, mishaps, and line-waiting the only regret I have is the 13 hour drive both to and from Jersey... And the Turnpike. Mother. Of. GOD! That infernal stretch of pavement! A pox on it! Oh, and maybe wishing I'd gotten better cameras that disposable for the occasion, ah well.

Anyway, got 2 tee shirts, one of Vinyl, the other Fluttershy's "yay". Flutteryay was unfortunately a women's XL so I'm going to see if I can't get that amended here soon. Also, I feel really bad for anyone who takes these clothing label sizes to heart, that is not an XL ladies, that is a skinny.

Took my 3DS on a whim, ended up tripling my StreetPass population and obtaining all the have-to-streetpass-for puzzle pieces. Was rather surprised when I found the Mii of PsychoDuck strolling trough my gates.

After the fire on Sunday (Less than 10 seats away from where the light started dripping, that was interesting) Spent the rest of the day waiting in line to get John de Lancie's autograph voucher and actual autograph (Was next in line when they cut off the voucher line on Saturday, can you believe it?)

Five hours I spent in what was affectionately referred to as LineCon And met a lot of cool and interesting people, a woman that was my mother's age, a lady that'd been a fan since G2 and liked Sweetie Belle, the gent who ended up buying a Pinkie Pool plush, and at least two Doctors. All great people, I wish I'd exchanged contacts with them.

And in the boring week since then, I've been the ride for my roommates who work at Walmart and finished reading Eldest this morning, gonna crack open Brisingr here soon.
