Q&A about NCAA Football 13

I've got a few questions about the new NCAA game that I cannot seem to find answered through google, so I decided to start a Q&A thread where you can ask questions about the new game and people who already have it can answer. I would've gone to a subreddit for the game, but they all seem rather dead.

My personal questions:

• What, if any, are the changes to the customizability of conferences? Can you edit the connections of Non-BCS Bowls? Can you dissolve/create conferences, or even merge some?

• What, if any, are the in-game quirks this year? Last year, for example, had the appearance of strafing defenders on the option that don't do shit.

• Is recruiting as unpredictable as real-life can be? Can an exodus of decommits happen? Do signees influence others to sign with a school? Can a smaller school land any top players?
