Curious about how much I should pay on RMAH

I want to spend some money on the RMAH for a 1h weapon and a few pieces of armor.

I am in somewhat of a doubt as to what/how much I am supposed to pay for such items. How do I know that they're not overpriced and I am getting ripped off ?

Is there anyway to get a $PC ?
