I'm getting a divorce (details inside), any tips?
I've been married about 4 years. I just learned that my wife is going to file papers against me (she doesn't know that I know this). I knew it was coming, and if she didn't I would.
She is mentally ill. I won't go into specifics but essentially she has issues that prevent her from having a remotely healthy relationship.
I'm actually really happy about being rid of her. We have no children, no assets, and if she comes after me all she would get is a shitton of debt. We have lived apart for the past 2 years and have separate bank accounts.
My question is this: is there anything I need to be on the lookout for? The state that she is filing in allows single party divorce so she can move forward with it without ever getting me to sign off on anything. I am just concerned that I might be missing something. There is NOTHING that she can take from me... we split our assets 50/50 when I moved out.
