Let's start from the beginning. I liked this girl (lets call her allyssa because thats her name) who was a junior (I was a freshman) last year. It turned out she had a boyfriend ans I thought she was too pretty and old to go out with a guy like me so I give up on the idea. Fast forward....our band goes on a trip to new Orleans and this other girl (let's call her abbie because that's her name) starts flirting with me (year older but whatever) she has a boyfriend and tells me they won't be together much longer. Allyssas boyfriend is in band and he starts ignoring her. Allyssa wants to have fun on the trip so she hangs with abbie, me, and other friends. I help overcome her boyfriend sadness and become a close friend. After the trip abbie is single and we start seeing each other. As Abbie and I are dating Allyssa breaks up with her boyfriend. About a month into our relationship abbie breaks up with me and starts going out with my best friend of 4 years a couple days later (who is moving to NJ, but whatever). Allyssa and I start talking some more and I find out she likes me from a friend. Feels good man. I ask her if we can try something once school starts, but she says no. I then ask her the reason and she says because my ex is her best friend. Because of this girl code she doesn't want to date me. So I bring up one of us asking my ex if "I'm on the market" and she agrees. That's where my story is left off, so hopefully she will talk to her soon and we will both be happy :).
