Can someone explain what a "comfort bike" is? Does this look like a good bike to you?

I'm looking to get a bike for getting to work, about 10 mile ride, mostly uphill. I've never heard the term "comfort bike" and was hoping someone could explain, and shed some light as to whether or it this would fit my need.
