Mt. Augusta Stores [BILL]

So, this whole store prices thing has been a snafu. People on both sides have been unclear about what their problems are, and how they want to go about fixing them. It is for this reason that I propose a state-sponsored store. Instead of operating their own shops, business owners will sell their goods to the state, (for the same price as they would on their own) and the state to the people. This means that there will no longer be all those stores operated by different people, and it also means that the common man is allowed to be an entrepreneur.

As this whole snafu has been caused by miscommunication, I intend to make this bill exceedingly clear.

From the time that this bill is passed onward, there will be one store in Mt. Augusta. This store will acquire it's stock through trade with merchants. This means that operators of stores can still sell their goods for the same price, and furthermore, the common man can sell their goods. The prices that the stores buy for and sell for will be determined partially by a Director of Commerce (more on that position later), and partially by the citizens of Mt. Augusta. This allows the stores to sell at a price that both makes a profit, and is pleasing to the common man. The income from this state store will be put back into the community through the fixing of abandoned houses or anything else that requires paid labor. As for the Director of Commerce, this person's job would be to manage the state store and to establish trade with other cities. I propose that 0zymandias take this position. However, if the public is against this it can be changed. Thank you for your time.
