Old friend/former fling making me uncomfortable

My friend from college moved away a while ago. When we lived in the same town, I wanted to have a relationship with him but he didn't want to. We did have sex a couple of times. We eventually agreed to be only friends, he moved away. Fast forward a year, I am now in a relationship with someone I really care for. My friend from college recently came back to visit, and we hung out with a few friends together. However, my friend made me feel like he wanted something from me. We hugged when we saw each other but he was a bit too feely. I tried to make it obvious by talking about my boyfriend a bit that I was not interested.

Now I just feel guilty. I'm not sure if I should tell my boyfriend about it so it doesn't seem like I'm hiding something. Also unsure what to tell friend so he knows that wasn't okay with me. I don't know a ton of people right now, so I would hate to cut contact with someone who I was somewhat close friends with.
