Trophy system failing?

Does anyone else seem to be having issues with the trophy just flat out doing nothing from time to time? Mostly it will work fine, but occasionally there will be a predator called in and I'll set it and lay under it, and the predator kills me, or I get tubed or what have you. No its not destroyed first, it happens even if its destroyed after 0/2 uses.

Is it just lag causing it, like on the host side of the connection, it hasn't registered that it is set or what? I'm fairly mobile so I have no idea if it happens to one that's been set for a while, since I only put it out when I need it.
