The NoFap movement isn't for everyone. For those without regular access to sexual intercourse, it can be counterproductive to place off-limits one's only outlet for sexual exercise, expression, and creativity.
Moreover, if success is defined as not masturbating and failure is defined as masturbating, are we not flirting with conditioning our brain to associate masturbation, sex, and orgasm with guilt?
There is a wide range of practices that would fall under the category of "masturbation." Some might degrade one's sexual fitness: I might cue up some extreme porn on the computer and yank the orgasm right out of my cock, even repeating the act shortly thereafter. On the other hand, masturbation surely can enhance my sexual fitness: I might use a Fleshlight, go slow, and use my body. I can choose to forego any visual stimulation and focus my mind on an actual memory or fantasy, or just the physical sensation. I can choose to repeat only as frequently as my libido demands it, and only as frequently as I can achieve orgasm without exhaustion.
YesFap says that masturbation can improve one's sex life. It is not a prescription for a certain kind of masturbation or frequency of masturbation. It is an acknowledgement of the potential of masturbation to be used effectively and also to be abused.
