Awkward date story/did I make a grievous error?

So, taking the advice of a redditor, I messaged a girl I messaged about 2 years ago who never responded, and got a response this morning. She informed me that she was about to deactivate her profile, but she'd still like to give me a chance, so she gave me her number so we could text. We both had the day off work, apparently, because after I texted she texted back immediately and we talked that way for about an hour before I asked if I could call her because that would just be easier. She agreed, and after about another hour of (quite honestly, hilarious) conversation, she agreed that we should just meet for drinks. So, we went to a local bar, sat and talked for a while, and of course, some of her old friends were at the bar and they kept sending shots over to our table. I didn't want to be rude, so I indulged and, after a particularly harsh shot of whiskey (which the waitress informed me was the strongest they had) and a few other "mystery" shots, combined with the drinks I had ordered myself, I was a bit tipsy, if not a little drunk. I feel like at that point I was a little too verbose and maybe even a little unattractive (I wasn't rude or offensive, just not very reserved and acted a bit... well, drunk, really). I apologized, and she told me that it wasn't my fault, that it was her friends who sent the shots, and I wasn't being a bad date. She even agreed to a second date, but with the stipulation that it might be a while because she is going out of town for a week and will be busy until then. I still feel like maybe I committed a dating no-no. Did I? Have you ever done this/had this done to you, and what was your reaction?
