How do you characterize your sexuality?
To start, I want to assure you that i have a respect for any and all varieties of sexualities. If I offend or am ignorant of any facts, let me know. I'm a non-op trans-female and as such spend a lot of time thinking about gender and sexuality. I am use to idea that not everyone fits the gender binary (my own body and mind stand as evidence) but have been thinking more and more recently about non-binary forms of attraction. I feel like lots of the language used toward those attracted to trans girls is rather delegitimizing. “Tranny chaser” or “admirer”. The character portrayed is almost always predatory. I tend to think this is, albeit on a lesser scale, a similar kind of stigma as that faced by any member of the sex+ and gender variant community. I really wanted to hear from you guys how you really felt about your sexualities in regard to your attraction to transgirls. Do you see it as a fetish? Or does your attraction to this form of gender variance form a distinct orientation from both heterosexuality and homosexuality to some degree? I’m interested in the idea that, in laymans terms, one might be attracted toward a person more in the center of the gender spectrum or with a more complex arrangement of apparent gender attributes. Thanks for reading! nothing but respect from my end.
