Why are so many people using the op swords/chaos swords/ar

This really is not your typical mmo? I don't see the audience as mostly 14 year olds who want to all play rouges. General chat is normally full of helpful adults with very little spam.

1. Is the community less intelligent than I thought ( I play on asia time so it could be something there)
2. People see others using sword combos and just copy?
3. Not sure guess just curious what you guys think.
