Met my neighbor because of a motorcycle. Anyone have "got to know someone b/c of a bike" stories?

Moved into this apartment complex a few months ago. First thing I notice is the abundance of motorcycles. Cruisers, standards, and sport bikes. I originally wrote off getting a bike because I figured bike+carport =stolen. But with how many bikes there are, I start to rethink.

Fast forward to now, I'm 2 weeks away from my MSF course and am thoroughly excited. I notice this older gentleman prepping his cruiser in a parking space a few spaces from mine. Usually I'll just say hi to be friendly. Today we got to talking and he told me about his bike, and come to find out he's actually my next door neighbor.

If it wasn't for my bike excitement I wouldn't have been so nosy about his bike, and I still wouldn't know my neighbor. That's my story.
