Cheap hotels within stumbling distance of the Wavehouse?

I'm looking to get a bit bonkers this Sunday in Mission Beach and I don't want to drink and drive--especially all the way back to Oceanside. I'm looking for a cheap hotel/motel for the night that's close enough for me to avoid outrageous cab fare. I've pricelined it but I have a feeling you guys might be able to give me better suggestions. Cheaper the better--I just need a place to sleep off my bananas & champagne bender. ;)
