Adam and Eve metaphor

There are two children in a home, and it is a huge, beautiful home.

They have total freedom to do whatever they want, and there is no such thing as danger in this place.

However, outside of this large, beautiful home, is a danger the children do not know about, and are happy, because they are ignorant of it.

The father, who is very loving and kind, buys a gun and a gun safe, and locks the gun in His room.

He makes the children understand that nothing, for them, has changed, except they need to stay away from the gun safe. He explains that what is in there can kill you. "Don't even look at it!"

Instead of listening to their father, the children went to go check out this cool, mysterious, thing. When they went into the forbidden room (their father's room), they were shocked to find a stranger in there. He seemed nice, and He was very charismatic.

This smooth talking stranger said to the children, “Did your Father really say, ‘You must not use this gun?"

The children agreed, "We may do as we like in this great home, but my Father did say, ‘You may not use this gun, you may not touch it, or you will die.’” (When He commanded the children to avoid the gun, this is the 'gun safe,' because they cannot get inside of the gun safe without breaking one of His rules.)

The smooth talking man answered them, "You will not certainly die, For your Father knows that when you take this gun and use it, you will be like the Father, you will be all grown up." When the children saw that the gun was clean and shiny, and it would make them grow up, they took the gun (remember these children are very ignorant) and each proceeded to look down the barrel and pull the trigger.
