Need a little guidance getting started.

I recently downloaded Planeswalker 2013 on steam, and I've gotten the itch to build a deck. Only thing is, I have no idea where to get started. I have a local store to play at that I frequent for other gaming needs, but I do know they have a large active MTG community.

But, that being said, I have no idea where to get started. I do know they have intro packs, are they worth it? Or are the premade decks pointless.

Mostly I'm interested in Green or White. Are these beginner friendly decks, or are all types equal?
