13 months later... first positive test!

We've been trying for over a year now and decided to see a Reproductive Endocrinologist (fertility doc). All the tests they did on us came back normal, so they decided to do an IUI this month assisted by clomid (which helps more eggs be released, increasing the likelihood that one will be fertilized).

Today is 10 days after the IUI and my pee test was positive! I couldn't stop crying- the idea of seeing that second line on the test seemed so crazy and far out there that I still just can't believe it. I called my husband and could barely get anything out other than "I peed on a stick" and "I'm pregnant", so he came rushing home.

We already have a blood test scheduled for wednesday at our fertility clinic, as a follow up to the IUI. I'm so excited. I just can't believe it. I'm also scared to death it's not going to last and I'm going to miscarry or something is going to be wrong...

Oh and as for symptoms, my boobs have been hurting since about Thursday/Friday (but that's pretty normal for a week before my period), I've had weird on/off nauseous type feelings (not really felt like I was going to vomit, just queasy), and I've been super bloated/crampy (also stupid normal stuff for a week before period due date).

I just keep telling myself there is no such thing as a false positive on these tests. I had to take a second one to be sure. SQUEEEEEEEE!!!
