I am sick of party politics in America.

I am fairly young (high school) but the more I hear about this upcoming election, the more I hate both parties. I view myself as a moderate conservative. Now I say this because most conservatives embarrass the Hell out of me. They cannot have a conversation about Obama or his supporters without insulting them and calling them un-american.

The democrats are no better. They aren't. They are just as childish. They mock conservatives and think that they are above them. It really makes me sick. Nothing can get done in this country because, unlike in previous administrations, neither side will compromise. Not even a little. Our elected officials cannot put aside their differences for even a few moments to make a decision to benefit us citizens. It is embarrassing. No wonder countries make fun of us. Our leaders can't even have civilized debates with each other.

I hate how our system is a game. It is a game. People lie or with hold information to get reelected. People lie to tarnish the reputation of other officials. People state things to get the votes of people. For example Obama is now pro-gay marriage. Which he should be but come on we all know why he made that announcement. November is sneaking up on him.

The only thing we citizens can actually agree on is fighting against CISPA. This whole system makes me sick. And I am tired of hearing the stupid shit about it. I want to be able to watch a news channel that is not extremely biased. I want the facts not the drama. I do hold conservative views but I am at least open minded. I think that is it. I'm done ranting.
