Please help! Certain games crash my computer. Specs included.

Most of my video games work, and I'm able to record in 1080 with almost no lag. But for some reason games like Fear 3 and CoD:MW3 crash my computer on launch. I have tried undownloading and downloading them again as well as verifying the game cache but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
