ME3 Datapad help

I downloaded the ME3 datapad for my ME3 playthrough and have spent 21 hours in it and haven't got any messages. When I press refresh on the mail it says that it failed to find any messages, I am logged in to origin on it. Can anyone help me. (I'm on PC)
