What's with the hate?

Okay, so I posted an MxPx song last night and (to my HONEST surprise) was met with hostility and negative karma.

The justification from most of the anti-MxPx clique was that being Christian is "not punk."

I'm not a religious man by any stretch of the imagination, but being punk is not some exclusive club that you have to meet certain criteria on.

Anyone can be punk, anyone and everyone is allowed to be punk, just because they're Christian, doesn't mean they aren't allowed to be punk. The schools punk and Christianity aren't mutually exclusive.

A Christian anarchist can just as easily say fuck the state and listen to God as a regular anarchist would say fuck the state and listen to yourself.

Punk is a group of individuals who dare to stand out from the crowd and reject the overpowering burden of big government and fascist corporations. Well, with the rules and regulations the punk community has slowly implemented over the years, guess what we're becoming...that's right...fucking fascists.

Hate and intolerance is NOT punk. Not in the slightest.
