50 Starting Strength Sessions Report

http://imgur.com/swWX2

Just some references for those too unnerved or lost to start. These pictures represent 3 months of uneducated starving and 4 months of educated dieting with 50 sessions of SS.

Started dieting and moving around more last year at around 38% BF, dropped 40lbs by being hungry and doing bootcamp classes with grannies. Was satisfied but still chubby. Went abroad, regained 10lbs and decided to get my shit together in mid Feburary to prepare for impending 1/8th life crisis. Started SS at 25% BF as complete novice. Diet was LG, eating generally at maintenance of 2350 cal or a 500-1000 calorie deficit depending on mood or discipline. 70% clean, 30% ice cream melt downs and mcdoubles. Threw in a 2 week session of PSMF when the mood struck me. Took a week off after overzealous but successful bodyweight widowmaker attempt, and another when I thought I broke my back after miraculously pulling 365lb DL when I mistakenly (read: drunkenly) loaded 25lb plates instead of 2.5lb. Overall, I was fairly consistent. Starting and current numbers are:

Height - 5'5" / 5'7" with better posture

BF - 38% / 25% (not shown) / 18%?

SQ - 90 / 240 x5 (roughly 100500lbs moved over 50 sessions)

BP - 65 / 155 x5

OHP - bar / 100 x5

DL - 115 / 320x5 (inebriated 1RM 365)

PC - bar / 135 x3

BW Chin - 0 / 10

BW Dip - 0 / 15

All my lifts have more or less stalled after several resets since I'm cutting severely (goal 10-12%BF ~ 140lb). It's a little discouraging but the program has worked well so far. My OHP is a source of great shame, and I'll be getting microplates to see if I can get out of the stalls. Parting words: start now, you don't have to be perfect as long as you're consistent. Also don't drink and lift.
