Ps3 players does anyone know why?!

So my skyrim freezes but I don't know if it's my ps3 or my copy of skyrim I mean it works Until I press continue. It stays on the loading screen forever (literally) and when I press the ps button it freezes my ps3 just stays loading the XMB I also put in a similar game like skyrim (fallout 3) and it worked fine. Not looking for karma just need some help because I am not going to start over again I mean you can't get to lvl 59 again in a day! (see its not an even lvl I may have an OCD problem but it's driving me crazy) also I tried the little delete saved data utlity trick.
