My 8 year old and me (23 years old) talking about pokemon

I haven't watched pokemon or even played a pokemon game since Pokemon. My cousin and me were talking and i asked him what his favorite pokemon was and he said (i can't quite remember the pokemon since I've NEVER heard of it) and i said i never heard of it. He then looked at me like i was the biggest moron EVER!!! And i explained to him that there has been like diffrent "generation" of pokemon. I gave an example of our family with my grandma, mom me and him for generations. So he asked me what was my favorite pokemon and i told him that i thought Scyther. Because let's face it... He's pretty awesome. So we spent the afternoon informing ourselfs with my generation amd his generation. Was an afternoon well spent!!!
