I know they'e not exactly high-literature, but what does /r/books think about the Star Wars: Darth Bane trilogy?

Okay, so today for some reason, my memory jolted and I remembered that the final book in the Bane trilogy was out. I plan to pick it up as I absolutely loved the first one, and really dug the second one as well.

Without getting too spoiler-y, how did you all like the third in the trilogy? How did you like the past two? Which was your favorite? All I ask that you mark spoilers, especially if it's for the third book.

Also, as a Star Wars fan who dug this, what are some other good SW books out there? I saw some book about Revan of KOTOR fame, penned by the same guy (Drew Karpyshyn) that wrote the Bane books, not to mention some of the Mass Effect books as well, and wondered if that might be good.
