Is there any hope for adhesive stuck to a shirt?

In my last bleach escapade, I got a TON of adhesive stuck to a shirt because I sprayed too much on the stencil and didn't clean it between shirts. I cleaned the stencil then with alcohol and started spraying lighter, and it worked fine from there on out. The adhesive sis not wash out, even with hot water. Is there anything that will take it out, or is it pretty much a total loss? At $2.50 per shirt it's not a big deal, really, just curious.
