[Question] Hi, r/Fitmeals. I am very new to this whole being healthy thing and have some questions to ask.
Like the title says I am new to the idea of living a healthy life style and would like to ask a few basic questions if that is okay (really don't know if I am in the right place). Basically I have recently became tired of my party lifestyle and stopped smoking weed and drinking within the past month. I am looking to take it a step further and begin a healthy diet. I am skinny - too skinny. I weigh around 145 - 150. My goal is to put on around 10 pounds of muscle and maybe another 10 pounds of general body weight. I want to attempt to take on more of a fruit/veggie based diet with some white meats and seafood for protein. Obviously I know I am not going to put on muscle just eating fruits and veggies, but preferably I would like these to be the majority of my diet. So I guess my question is...how do I maximize my protein intake through white meats and seafood but still eating a majority of fruits and veggies? I guess I should add that I have began simply jogging about a mile nightly and working out with free weights about a half hour a day.
