Red dye tips.
So I posted this on r/hair a few weeks ago but I've noticed this sub has a lot more followers! Also, I have a few more questions than last time. I took this pic a little over a month ago: Imgur However, my hair grows really fast so my roots are about 3 inches long. They're a dark blond/light brown color.
I want to go red, but I'm not sure which shade. I like these the best: copper, light and whatever this is (her hair was ginger last season but I think they dyed it a darker red to make her seem older).
Which would look best on me? I'm really pale Imgur and I don't like having darker hair because my eyebrows are kind of blonde and I don't enjoy looking like I don't have eyebrows.
I would rather NOT bleach my hair. Since I've hilighted my hair, I've noticed it's really tangly and knots up easy. If I do get it lightened and they dye the red over it, will my hair still have this kind of texture?
My hair isn't that damaged. I usually just use a diffuser with my hair dyer. I hardly ever straighten it because it's so thick and wavy. So, if it is lightened will they have to cut a lot of hair off?
Also, what do you think each shade will fade to? I'm worried about the last one turning brown. Which will be the easiest to touch up at home, because like I said, my hair grows really fast.
Sorry this was so long!
**Edit: Is there a sub for make-up tips?
