Sabnzb stuck on checking.

Hey, so I have recently moved to usenet, sabnzb and the website dognzb and all was working fine. However, now when I add a new nzb file or one gets added via rss sabnzb just says waiting forever and says that it is downloading at 1-2b/s. if I repair the queue or restart sabnzb and then click resume it starts downloading at full speed.

This is on os X 10.8 and the latest version of sabnzb for mac.

Any ideas?
